Planning is half the party
Much makes much?
Sometimes just a little makes a lot of difference! With mindfulness and a few simple things, you can give your intoxicating party experience a good drive. Because fewer unpleasant side effects and risks leave more room for pleasurable experiences. This checklist offers you tips and suggestions for planning your next consumption experience.
In addition to your style, check your outfit:
⫸ Comfort and functionality: Dancing for long periods, sweating through, possibly staying somewhere else overnight, etc. may require special or extra clothing.
⫸ Weather suitability: You are ready for sun & rain, day & night, indoors & outdoors.
⫸ Stamina: How long could the party last, where do I go afterwards?
⫸ Condition of the (dance) floor: The more you dance, the more comfortable shoes you need!
Tip: Dress in several layers according to the onion principle. Take a change of briefs, socks and shirt with you.
Pack your bag with...
⫸ your own consumption utensils (e.g. drawing tube, pad, dosing aid, etc.)
⫸ Snack (e.g. bar, nuts, apple)
⫸ Chewing gum, throat lozenges, dextrose
⫸ Condoms, lubricant
⫸ Medication that you take regularly
⫸ Plan for the way home (see above)
⫸ Change of briefs, toothbrush
⫸ Extras: tissues, mineral tablets, lip balm, hair tie (long hair), pocket ashtray
Tip:
Share with others - but never your consumer items!
What goes up, must come down. If you know this in advance and plan for it, you can also enjoy it. Inspiration for an enjoyable finish:
⫸ Plan your way home - also in case your cell phone fails
⫸ Clean up your home before going out so that you feel comfortable when you get home
⫸ Do the shopping, cook your meals in advance
⫸ Make sure you keep your (Monday) appointments
⫸ Invite or uninvite visitors in good time
Dancing, tripping, partying is exhausting. Replenish your reserves. After some consumption experiences, a temporary "low" is unavoidable. If you accept this beforehand, you will suffer less afterwards:
⫸ Create a feel-good atmosphere
⫸ Sleep: Unburden your thoughts. Process what you have experienced. Rest.
⫸ Summing up: Preserve the good memories. Also take ambivalent or negative experiences seriously. Talk about them with friends. If necessary, seek professional support.
⫸ Food: Eat good food that provides valuable nutrients and is tasty.
⫸ Relaxation: Relax your body and soul. Snuggle up. Take a bath. Do light gymnastics.
⫸ Relax: Take a rest period to do only things that are good for you. E.g. watch series, be with friends, read.
